He showed off his love for a great suit during his turn on The Bachelor and now *Blake Garvey *is hoping to inspire other men to pick up their style game.

The auctioneer and *Perth * identity has signed on as brand ambassador for local men's accessories label Pocket Rockit and will take to the runway in what will be the label's first public display at Suited - The Champagne Event later this month at *QV1 *.

Known for his suave take on fashion, Garvey said the brand's signature pocket squares added the perfect touch to his outfits and he encouraged other men to get creative with how they styled their suits.

"I think there is a bit of stigma with guys, they feel they are putting in too much effort or they are overdressed or they don't come from the right background to be wearing a suit," Garvey explained to _AAA _.

"In terms of background, I grew up in rough areas and I was raised by my mother.

"You don't have to come from a particular background to look sharp, and for me, the pocket square is that final touch."

Pocket Rockit designer *Brock Walter *, who has shipped his bespoke creations all around the world, agreed that men tended to overcomplicate fashion.

"Pocket squares are a really easy way to dress up a look and they are not expensive," he said. "It doesn't matter if you are wearing jeans and a T-shirt, you can still chuck on a jacket and a Pocket Rockit."

The brand will celebrate its one- year anniversary with the autumn/ winter showcase at boutique *CBD *event Suited on March 21 and Walter is already planning collections for the rest of the year.

As for how Garvey is feeling about his looming catwalk moment, he said it should be a walk in the park after his controversial run on The Bachelor last year.

"After everything I have been through, it's hard to ever say that I am totally nervous about anything," the 31-year-old said with a laugh.

"I have done a lot of things in my time but I am excited, I think it will be a lot of fun and I am just proud to be representing the brand. As long as I don't trip over and do a *Jennifer Lawrence *, then I think it will be all good."
