Kenny Lowe says his chief striker Andy Keogh is not experiencing a crisis of confidence and has more goals in him as Perth Glory limp towards finals.

Keogh has nine A-League goals this season but has scored just once in Glory's current winless run, which stretched to six matches with Saturday night's 2-2 home draw against Brisbane Roar.

The Irish striker's last goal was from the penalty spot against Melbourne Victory, who slipped to three points behind leaders Glory after a 3-2 home defeat by Wellington Phoenix yesterday.

Keogh had a chance to scramble a late winner from close range at nib Stadium but he got caught in a tangle of legs and couldn't generate the angle or power to find the net, leaving Perth frustrated with a draw after controlling much of the contest.

But Lowe said there was no cause for concern over Keogh.

"He's contributing," Lowe said. "You saw what he was like out there. It was fantastic.

"He's a pro. There's more to his game than just goals. He contributes in so many ways.

"He's happy. I chat to him. He's in a good spot."

Danny De Silva and Dino Djulbic scored the goals for Glory.

·Glory's youth team missed out on the Y-League title by a point yesterday, losing 2-1 at home to Brisbane. Melbourne City's 2-2 draw with Newcastle Jets earlier in the day proved to be enough.
