Real estate agent strips down to sell homes
A ballsy real estate agent has laid bare his most successful tip for a property sale.
Adopting the 'sex sells' approach, Bellarine property agent Levi Turner has switched his suit and tie for swimmers in a bizarre bid to score a deal.
The stripping down sales strategy has, so far, proven to be a hit.
A promotional video, in which Mr Turner shows off his chiseled torso as he attempts to entice potential buyers, has been viewed hundreds of times online and the property has attracted widespread interest.
The clip shows a birds eye view of Mr Turner as he sprints shirtless from the Barwon River to the back deck of the house he is trying to market.
“So close to the river, one street back from the main street... with no passing traffic,” he says, with a beach towel slung casually over his bare shoulder.
The starring role of the sexy stunt was originally planned for the managing director of Bellarine Property, Christian Bartley, but clashing schedules meant Mr Turner had to take his place, but there was little dispute about the reshuffle.
“I said ‘rightio, do I have to get my gear off?’ and he said ‘absolutely’ so I got down to my board shorts and did it,” Mr Turner told real estate website Domain.
In the advertisement, the daring sales agent attempts to sway potential investors with a sneak glimpse of the home's exterior features, but the inside of the home is never revealed.
Despite this, auctioneer Mr Bartley was quoted on February 18 saying that that nine contracts have already been given out since the campaign launched.
Mr Turner said, “It’s good to do something different.”
