Nicole Kidman loved reading Paddington Bear as a child and now she's been photographed introducing a new generation to the beloved books.

Kidman shared a picture on her Facebook page from a recent visit to a bookstore in Brentwood, Tennessee, where she led story time with the children.

The photo has a beaming Kidman with the group, with a giant Paddington teddy next to her.

"I loved reading to the kids. So much fun. Love Nic xx," she posted.

According to Page Six in the NY Post, about 100 people lined up for the event.

"If I wasn't an actress, I wanted to be a kindergarten teacher. Dreams do come true," the actress said.

In a featurette for the upcoming film adaptation of Paddington, which stars Kidman, she revealed how much the books by Michael Bond meant to her as a child.

"I grew up reading Paddington Bear and always loving the bear and loving his charm," Kidman said.

Paddington comes out in Australian cinemas on December 11.
