No one was more devastated when the Rolling Stones had to postpone their Australian tour earlier this year than Paul Hanrahan.

The husband of the Telstra Perth Fashion Festival director Mariella Harvey-Hanrahan, who, she said, could be their biggest Australian fan, was understandably upset when the legendary band had to cancel their Aussie tour after the shock death of Mick Jagger's girlfriend L'Wren Scott.

Paul, who has a room dedicated to the band's memorabilia, saw his first Stones concert in LA 20 years ago and managed to get his hands on the official set list after a Sydney concert in 2003.

The couple are heading to Adelaide for the first rescheduled show on the 14 on Fire tour, which kicks off at Adelaide Oval next Saturday.

"We are going for the big experience. We are going to the dinner and then we are going to the show and we are hoping to meet the band," Mariella told AAA Weekend at Elle Boutique's fashion charity fundraiser at Nigel and Denise Satterley's new Peppermint Grove home on Wednesday. "We will also be front rowers in November when they come back to Perth."

At the Elle event, Mariella was heard talking excitedly about flying in to Adelaide straight from sitting front row at her first Malaysia Fashion Week in Kuala Lumpur.
