Police hunt Lesmurdie gunman
Police are hunting for a gunman after a shooting in Lesmurdie.
Midland detectives want to locate Joshua Greg Allen, 24, who they believe may be able to assist their investigation, and urged him to make contact via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
The incident happened yesterday but details have only just emerged.
In a statement, police said detectives were investigating an incident at a house in Ryan Way in which a 26-year-old man was shot in the leg.
Several items were also stolen from the house.
Police warned members of the public not to approach Mr Allen, who may be armed with a gun.
Anyone with information which could help police locate him should also call Crime Stoppers.
