Murder charge for Meekatharra death
A Meekatharra man will face court today charged with the murder of a 32-year-old man.
The victim was flown to Perth on Wednesday after he suffered serious head injuries during an altercation at a home in Consols Road, Meekatharra.

He died in Royal Perth Hospital last night.
Major crime detectives, with the assistance of local police, arrested a 29-year-old man in Newman yesterday and charged him with murder overnight.
He is due to face Newman Magistrate’s Court today.
