Snake-bite victim flown to hospital

A man is in a stable condition after being bitten by a snake in Jurien Bay, 225km north of Perth, this morning.

The 37-year-old was airlifted by RAC helicopter to Royal Perth Hospital for anti-venom treatment after being bitten at a private property.

The snake was understood to have been a highly venomous brown snake.
