Crash driver airlifted to RPH

A 44-year-old man was airlifted to Perth last night after his car and a truck collided 100km south of Mount Magnet.

The Bunbury man’s vehicle veered in front of the truck on Great Northern Highway about 2.45pm.

Volunteers from a nursing post at Paynes Find, 420km north east of Perth, treated the man before he was transferred to Perth by Royal Flying Doctor Service.

He is in a stable condition at Royal Perth Hospital.
