Driver freed from crash, airlifted to RPH

A man was airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital yesterday afternoon after crashing into tree in Cardup.

Just before 4pm yesterday the man was driving along South West Highway when he struck a tree near the intersection of Kiln Road.

Firefighters gave the jaws of life to the man and the RAC Rescue Helicopter took him to RPH.

Last night the man was in a serious but stable condition.
