Pedestrian injured in crash

A pedestrian is in a serious condition in hospital after being hit by a car in Armadale.

The 31-year-old was walking along Doorigo Road about 10.30pm on Saturday when he was hit by a white Nissan Pulsar travelling in the same direction.

The victim, from Tuart Hill, suffered serious injuries and was airlifted by rescue helicopter to Royal Perth Hospital, where he is in a serious but stable condition.

Police are urging anyone with information about the incident to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
