Trio deny Swanbourne murder
David Liam Johnson.

Three men have pleaded not guilty to murdering David Liam Johnson in Swanbourne last year.

Nathan Michael Beckton, Angus William John Ritchie and Alexander James Stephens appeared in Stirling Gardens Magistrate's Court today via videolink from prison.

The men pleaded not guilty to murdering the 32-year-old in March.

Police allege Mr Johnson was involved in an altercation with the men before he was hit by a car and shot in a park.

The court was told a new report found Mr Johnson suffered multiple injuries and was "very intoxicated" when he died.

The men will face a trial on November 17.
