Edgerton s Hollwood crush

Jennifer Garner's non-Hollywood attitude clicked with down-to-earth Aussie actor Joel Edgerton, who couldn't gush enough about the actress.

During a radio interview yesterday, a fan called in to ask Edgerton if he had ever had a crush on one of his leading ladies.

"All of them in some way," Edgerton said.

"I tell you who I have a complete fondness for, and it's not a crush in the sense I think that you're asking me about, is Jennifer Garner . . .

"(She) is one of the greatest people I've ever met."

Edgerton starred opposite Garner, together above, in the 2012 flick The Odd Life of Timothy Green.

"She's a great mother," he said of the actress, who has three children with husband Ben Affleck, who Edgerton called "an excellent dude as well".

He added: "I wish I could tell you that I was trying to chase her around (but) it was a deep admiration."

Edgerton will be a star guest at CineFest Oz in Busselton from tomorrow.
