Girl, 14, hit in head with bottle

A 14-year-old girl has been hit in the head with a bottle after about 20 young people gatecrashed a party in Seville Grove last night.

The girl was treated and released from Armadale Hospital.

A police spokeswoman said officers were called to reports of juveniles creating a disturbance about 9pm.

It is believed a group of approximately 20 youths gate crashed a party at a home in Glasgow Way.

The youths were breaking bottles and fighting in the street.

"It is alleged a 14-year-old girl was hit to her head by a bottle thrown by an unknown person," the spokeswoman said.

A boy, 13, a girl, 13, and a girl, 14, were issued Juvenile Cautions and were released to a responsible adult.
