Female driver allegedly threatened, rammed

A man allegedly threatened a female driver with a pistol as she was driving in Wilson yesterday afternoon.

Police allege the 25-year-old woman was driving along Manning Road at 1pm when the man pointed the pistol at her and then continued following her.

"It is also alleged the other car followed her for some distance, even attempting to ram her vehicle at one point before the woman managed to get away," a police spokeswoman said.

Police allege they found the vehicle of interest and a toy gun inside.

A 39-year-old Fremantle man will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date on the offence of Being Armed in a Way that May Cause Fear.
