Hepburn's granddaughter in chic homage

The granddaughter of Hollywood legend Audrey Hepburn has made her modelling debut on the cover of high fashion magazine Harper's Bazaar.

Emma Ferrer, 20, was hand-picked to appear as the cover girl for the style publication's September edition, in which she imitates a number of her famous grandmother's iconic poses.

She also channels Hepburn's beatnik look from her 1957 cult classic Funny Face for one shot, donning a black turtleneck with matching pants and loafers.

In the accompanying interview, Ferrer, an art student in Florence, Italy, says the first images she has of Hepburn are from when the actress was quite young. "I remember seeing a photo of her jumping on a trampoline."

The images for Harper's Bazaar were all shot by Michael Avedon, whose grandfather, celebrated fashion photographer Richard Avedon, famously shot Hepburn in her heyday.

Ferrer's father is Sean Ferrer, Hepburn's only son with her first husband, actor/director Mel Ferrer.

Hepburn died from cancer in 1993.
