$2.6m Lotto luck hits WA

Lotto luck struck Gosnells over the weekend with a $2.6 million Division 1 Lotto ticket sold in Saturday’s Superdraw.

WA’s winning ticket was sold at Ashburton Newsagency.

Owner of the outlet Nancy Woon said this was the third Division 1 ticket sold at her outlet since 2005.

"Everyone is so excited and there is such a buzz surrounding Gosnells today. I feel so happy that I have made one of my customers a multi-millionaire.

“I hope it goes to someone that needs the financial help," she said.

Mrs Woon said she had a strong feeling that a big Lotto win wasn’t far away and even described a dream she had the night of the Superdraw.

"I had dreamt we’d sold a Lotto ticket worth $594,000, so this prize amount is just wonderful," she said.
