73-year-old killed in Floreat crash

Major crash investigators are calling for witnesses to a crash which killed a 73-year-old man in Floreat yesterday.

About 8.10am, the Jolimont man was driving a silver Honda CRV east along Underwood Avenue in Floreat.

His car left the road near the intersection of Herb Elliot Drive and struck a tree on the median strip.

The 73-year-old was rushed to Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital but died a short time later.

Anyone who witnessed the crash or saw the Honda CRV before the crash is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
