Police hunt man over ram raid

Police are hunting for a man involved in a suspected ram raid at a Subway store in Spearwood this morning.

About 2.20am, police received a call that a white 4WD had reversed into the Subway store along Phoenix Road near the intersection of Rockingham Road in Spearwood.

The impact of the crash shattered the store's glass doors and windows and caused extensive damage.

It is not known if anything was stolen from the premises.

A police spokesman said they are currently reviewing CCTV footage.

Anyone who has seen or heard anything suspicious in the area around the time of the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
