Breaking up hard to do: Brynne

When Brynne Edelsten signed on for her second reality TV series, she knew there would be cameras following her around non-stop for a whole year.

But what the socialite was not prepared for was that her marriage to millionaire Geoffrey Edelsten would crumble and the crew would be on hand to capture everything.

Although the blonde was determined that Brynne: My Bedazzled Diary would cover the good and the bad, she told AAA it would be hard to watch the split when it went to air.

"Because the break-up unfortunately was never expected or anything, there were cameras around so it is definitely in there," Brynne says. "It is going to be very difficult for me to watch that back because I have moved on to another place now. It is going to be really weird to see that all on TV."

Geoffrey is now in a much-publicised relationship with New York model Gabi Grecko, while Brynne has moved on with burly personal trainer Big Red Ra. The past year has been a time of rapid growth for Brynne, who juggled TV projects, business ventures and appearances with the breakdown of her four-year marriage.

"It's crazy how much everything changes in such a short amount of time," the 31-year-old muses. "If I looked at myself two years ago I wouldn't recognise myself, let alone five years ago. I seem to change faster and faster the older I get."

Brynne says she has also learnt to not take things too seriously, which is why she expects her new series will be funnier than 2012's My Bedazzled Life.

In the first episode, she travels to Japan to receive a geisha makeover, counts cattle in heels on an outback farm and returns to Phoenix for a reunion with mother Mariel and half-sisters Kelsey and Aislyn.
