Police probe car, boat fires

Police are investigating after fires after cars and a boat were set on fire in Perth's northern suburbs this morning.

A $40,000 boat was completely burnt out on Federal Street, Tuart Hill after arsonists set it alight at about 3.25am.

The fire also damaged a nearby power pole.

On the same street, arsonists also attempted to set fire to a Toyota Camry while it was parked in the driveway of a property. The fire caused minor damage to one tyre.

About 20 minutes later, a Nissan Navara ute was set fire while it was parked outside a property on Regent Drive, Alexander Heights.

Firefighters extinguished the blaze but the front of the ute was significantly damaged.

Shortly after, a Holden Jackaroo in the area was also set on fire. The blaze damaged the interior of the car.
