Bree Maddox's baby joy
Bree Maddox is "over the moon" with news she is pregnant with her first child.
The Perth socialite and businesswoman recently found out she and former Gage Roads chief executive Nick Hayler were expecting but opted to keep the announcement under wraps until she had passed the three-month milestone.
With her 12-week ultrasound taking place earlier this week, Maddox told Access All Areas she was able to finally announce the news to friends and family yesterday.
"It was impossible to keep it a secret," Maddox, who owns iconic Northbridge venue the Court Hotel, beamed.
"I am relieved that the three-month wait is over. I am over the moon with excitement."
Maddox and Hayler have been together for about a year and had been planning on having a baby for a while when the blonde fell pregnant.
Hayler has a six-year-old daughter, Isabelle, from a previous relationship.
The "very organised" couple are now eagerly preparing for their new arrival and, while they don't yet know the sex of the baby, they already have names picked out.
"We both have a feeling it's a boy," Maddox revealed.
"Nick is the most incredible father and partner and I can picture myself being a mum."
With both parents-to-be having been married before - Maddox to Adultshop.com boss Malcolm Day - the former Penthouse Pet of the Year said she and Hayler were not in a rush to head down the aisle before the baby was born, preferring to enjoy the moment and think about marriage later on.
"We are just so focused on the baby. We will get there," Maddox laughed.
