Jackson tribute show heads to Perth

Thriller Live

The Michael Jackson tribute show Thriller Live, which has been running for six years in London's West End, is coming to Perth as part of a national tour.

Featuring songs from the Jackson Five and Jackson's solo career, the show commissioned by the family of the late singer comes to the Crown Theatre in December.

Thriller Live was conceived and created by Adrian Grant, a long-time associate of Jackson and author of Michael Jackson: The Visual Documentary.

With a cast and crew of more than 45, it features more than two hours of music, dancing and video footage and presents Jackson's hits from ABC and Can You Feel It to Beat It, Billie Jean, Rock With You and Thriller.

Jackson, who died in 2009, also is the subject of the Cirque du Soleil tribute show The Immortal, which toured to Perth last year.
