Queen photobombs Hockeyroos

If there was a gold medal for the best selfie this Commonwealth Games, WA's Jayde Taylor would be a shoo-in.

A beaming Taylor and fellow Hockeyroo Brooke Peris were photobombed by the Queen, who also wore a wide smile as she unintentionally came into their shot in Glasgow.

The surprise addition to the snap led Taylor to tweet "Ahh The Queen photo-bombed our selfie!!" followed by the hashtags #royalty and #sheevensmiled.

The photo came soon after the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh met the Australian players before their first match of the competition against Malaysia.

The Hockeyroos, wearing black armbands in memory of the victims of the Malaysia Airlines tragedy, comfortably won the game 4-0.
