Kylie Gillies is regularly referred to as one of the most stylish women on TV.
The Morning Show host has had a slew of celebrated red-carpet moments and always looks polished when she takes her place on the Seven show's couch alongside co-anchor Larry Edmur.
But Gillies insists she can't take much credit for her fashionable reputation, telling AAA Weekend she has a posse of stylists behind the scenes.
"Doing what I do, there is not a lot of time to hit the shops," the 47-year-old admits.
"I am a mum of two boys so basically every afternoon I am at a sporting oval somewhere taking them to training. I rely heavily on stylists but it is a collaboration.
"I am willing to try some trends and be a bit fashion forward in what I do. They work most of the time but occasionally viewers will say they don't like something. I enjoy pushing the envelope a bit and stepping out of my comfort zone."
Gillies' attire has even made world news with the personality suffering a wardrobe malfunction after a rogue gust of wind ruffled the splits on her striking black gown at the Prix de Marie Clare Awards last year.
But Gilles also has the sense of humour to be able to laugh off such an event and says her tip for other women is to dress with confidence.
"Know your body shape and know what looks good on you but also don't be afraid to try something new," she smiles.
Gillies love for all things style will be on show when she comes to WA next month to host a lunch with Professor Jimmy Choo as part of the famed shoe designer's first visit to Australia.
She says it could be the perfect excuse for her to join the ranks of the international elite and snap up some custom-made pumps from the fashion star's custom Jimmy Choo Couture line.
"I will explain to my husband 'Darling it's for work, I need a pair of Jimmy Choos'," Gillies laughs.
Presented by _The West Australian _'s Fashion Agenda and Hawaiian, The Business Behind the Glamour lunch with Professor Jimmy Choo is at Crown Perth on August 7.
