Major crime investigates man's death

Major crime squad officers are investigating a man's death in Beechboro.

A section of King Road was cordoned off last night as forensics officers searched a property.

It is understood police established the crime scene about 2pm yesterday after a 35-year-old man's body was discovered.

A friend called 000 after finding the man.

Neighbours said the residents of the house kept to themselves, but had regular visitors.

Forensic officers remain at the scene today, conducting an examination of the residence.

An elderly next-door neighbour said a Vietnamese man in his 40s lived at the house, but he had not seen him in weeks.
