UPDATE: Bunbury boxer Nathaniel May tuned up for his rematch with Waylon Law next month with victory over Hwi Jong Kim on Saturday night.

May, dropping down a division to featherweight, took his record to 6-1 with the third-round TKO win over the NSW-based Korean at the Eaton Recreation Centre in his home town.

Now he will aim to avenge his only loss when he takes on Law at the WA Italian Club on August 29.

But it wasn't a good night for Perth middleweight Luke Sharp, who suffered a majority points loss to NSW's Steven Ma over eight rounds.

The second defeat in three means Sharp is now 9-2 with two draws.
