It's a shared fondness of all things gourmet that will bring together famous foodies including Seven Perth newsreader Susannah Carr and My Kitchen Rules duo Chloe James and Kelly Ramsay, this weekend.
This year Perth's Good Food and Wine Show, which kicks off at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre on Friday, will play host to a number of big culinary names such as Matt Moran, Maggie Beer and George Calombaris.
But it's Italian chef Antonio Carluccio who has the WA MKR runners-up all flustered in the kitchen.
"Carluccio is going and he's an idol," Ramsay tells AAA.
"I think I'll freak if I see him, so that's going to be amazing."
The girls are thrilled with their involvement in this year's show - they have the enviable task of judging a pizza-making competition. "We'll do lots of slow gazes like (MKR judges) Manu (Feildel) and Pete (Evans) and ask where the sauce is, even though it's pizza," Ramsay jokes.
While James is "just looking forward to eating" she is excited to see what is on offer at this year's show.
"It's just such a cool event for Perth," she says.
"It comes every year but every year it gets bigger and better and it's pretty cool to be a part of it."
Carr is eager to catch up with MKR series two winners Sammy and Bella Jakubiak - she will be hosting their cooking demonstration at the show.
"Their approach to food is so sophisticated, they know so much about it, they're really accomplished," Carr says of the girls.
"I'm looking forward to walking around the whole exhibit as well and maybe popping into a couple of major chefs and seeing what they're doing too."
A self-confessed foodie, Carr is all about creating things from scratch and never goes for anything pre-made.
"I find cooking very therapeutic," she says.
"I don't like contraptions that do things for you because I like to know how to do things."
