Police aid charged with unlawful computer use

A senior Aboriginal Police Liaison Officer has been charged with multiple offences after allegedly unlawfully using a computer.

The 58-year-old officer was charged with three counts of unlawful use of a computer, one count of unlawful use of a computer with intent to benefit and one count of fraudulent falsification of records.

He has been stood down from all duties and is due to appear before Laverton Magistrate's Court today.
