Knife bandit robbed bottle shops

The man wanted by police over two bottle shop robberies.

Police are hunting for a knife-wielding man who held up two northern suburbs bottle shops.

The man entered the West Coast Highway store about 12.45pm on Saturday, March 8 and threatened staff.

He demanded cash and fled on foot.

Police believe the same man committed a similar robbery about 9.40pm on Tuesday, March 11, threatening staff at a bottle shop attached to a hotel on Main Street in Osborne Park and stealing cash.

The man is about 20 years old and 175cm tall, with tanned skin, a medium build and black hair.

He was wearing a light maroon and orange hooded jacket during both incidents, with blue shorts during the first robbery and black shorts during the second.

He was also carrying a small black backpack.
