Sea Eagles sail past Sharks

North Beach Sea Eagles coasted to a 48-18 WA Rugby League premiership victory over Rockingham Sharks at Charles Riley Reserve on Saturday

The Sea Eagles put on a trademark display led by Ben Taylor and Jason Godecke who tormented Sharks defenders. While the Sharks lacked imagination in attack where only Vincent Silulu could hold his head high.

Joondalup Giants proved yet again why they are the most inconsistent side in the competition, going down 46-36 to the Willagee Bears at Admiral Reserve.

It was desperation stakes with both sides fighting for a top four spot with Fremantle having the bye, but Regy Manu was the difference for the visitors with a hatful of tries. Caleb Reedy and Gus Marshall were the best performers for the Giants.

Meanwhile, league leaders South Perth bounced back from their hiccup against Joondalup last week, running home 46-24 winners at Pioneer Park.
