Crash driver dies in hospital

An 87-year-old woman injured in a head-on collision in Carine yesterday has died.

The woman was driving her white Toyota Corolla on Beach Road about 11.25am yesterday when her car collided with a silver Hyundai sedan being driven in the opposite direction.

The woman had to be freed from her car and was taken to Royal Perth Hospital for emergency treatment, but later died from her injuries.

Anyone who saw the crash, or either of the vehicles beforehand, should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Elderly woman cut from wrecked car

An elderly woman has been taken to hospital after a serious crash near Coolongup this afternoon.

The woman’s car and another vehicle collided on Ennis Avenue about 2pm.

Firefighters cut her from the wreckage, before she was treated by paramedics and taken to Rockingham Hospital.

Police are investigating.

Morley crash

A woman has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after her car crashed into a tree on Beechboro Road in Morley about 7.45am.

Firefighters had to cut the woman from the vehicle before she could be treated.

Police are currently investigating the crash.
