WA’s winning Lotto streak continued last night with a $2 million prize making five wins in five days.
The winning tickets have totalled $15.4 million worth of prize money.
Last night’s winning ticket, which was doubled to $2 million in the Double Win Day event, was sold at Northlands News in Balcatta.
Owner of the outlet Hasu Gohil said he was joking with customers yesterday that it was his turn for a big Lotto win next, after a $10 million ticket was sold in Balga in Tuesday night’s draw.
"I was telling everyone a win here was just around the corner and it’s actually happened. We are so happy with the news," he said.
Mr Gohil said it was the second Division 1 Lotto ticket sold at his outlet in 10 years.
Lotterywest spokesperson Pina Compagnone said they were still waiting to hear from WA’s $10 million winner who purchased their winning ticket from Princess Road News and Lotto in Balga, as well as last night’s $2 million winner.
