Fire guts Welshpool factory

A fire which gutted a Welshpool factory overnight is believed to have been deliberately lit.

Firefighters were called to the Casino Street business just after 2am this morning, with a helicopter called in to help contain the fire.

A DFES spokesman said the fire was brought under control around 3.30am.

Detectives from the Arson Squad and DFES fire investigators are investigating the scene this morning.
