Baby seriously hurt in crash

A two-year-old boy is in hospital with serious injuries after a three-car crash in Southern River yesterday afternoon.

"At about 5.15pm, a silver coloured Subaru Forester station wagon, a black coloured Jeep Cherokee station wagon and a blue coloured Dodge Caliber hatchback crashed at the intersection of Warton Road and Barrett Street," A WA Police spokeswoman said.

The toddler in the Subaru was seriously injured and taken to Princess Margaret Hospital for treatment.

This morning he remained in a critical but stable condition.

Major Crash Investigators would like to speak to anyone who saw the crash or any of the vehicles prior to the crash.
