Pregnant Kate out to play
Kate Ritchie was clearly revelling in the excitement of her first pregnancy when she stepped out on the red carpet this week with a growing baby bump.
Though she is only two months away from giving birth, the former Home and Away star frocked up for Coldplay's much-anticipated private gig in Sydney on Wednesday night.
Clad in a figure-hugging black dress, Ritchie was beaming as she cradled her burgeoning tummy while posing for photos before the event, which was only open to a group of 200 VIPS.
Ritchie, 35, shared her pregnancy news with fans in March after previously speaking of her desire for a family with rugby-player husband Stuart Webb, who she married in 2010.
"It really is such a special time for us and we couldn't be happier," the Gold Logie winner wrote in a Facebook post.
Ritchie is reportedly due in early September.
Along with the actress, the Coldplay event drew a Who's Who of Australian showbiz, with model Kate Peck, former Miss Universe Australia Laura Dundovic, Today Show host Karl Stefanovic and pop stars the Veronicas all turning out to see the British band perform a set of their biggest hits.
