The State Government has backed down on charging $2-a-day parking fees at train stations on ACROD bays for people with disabilities.
The parking fee was due to be introduced on all bays at train stations from July 1, but Transport Minister Dean Nalder said yesterday it would not apply to ACROD bays.
Mr Nalder described the fee on ACROD bays as "an oversight". "For me, it just didn't look right and I've asked for it to be sorted," he said.
