Actor Robert Pattinson has denied reports he's set to follow in Harrison Ford's footsteps and take over his two most iconic roles.

Industry rumours suggested the Twilight hunk was the favourite to play Indiana Jones in a new reboot and tackle the part of Star Wars' Han Solo in a franchise spin-off project.

However, the Brit admits he has been left baffled by the claims, as he has no plans to be Hollywood's Ford replacement.

"I don't know why. Why is that coming out? I honestly don't understand what it's all about. Man, I wish!," Pattinson told People.com.

"I didn't even know there was a Han Solo spin-off coming out. Sounds like a cool spin-off. I'll watch it."

The real Ford is currently recovering after breaking his ankle on the set of the new Stars Wars: Episode VII movie in England this week.
