Biker dies in Willagee crash

A motorcyclist has died after a crash in Willagee yesterday afternoon.

The 41-year-old man was travelling west on Garling Street around 4.50pm yesterday when his silver Suzuki bike collided with a silver/grey coloured Toyota Corolla hatchback near the Milroy Street intersection.

The impact sent the bike crashing into a nearby lamp post.

The man was taken to Fremantle Hospital with serious injuries, but died a short time later.

The 22-year-old woman driving the Toyota was not hurt.

Anyone who witnessed the crash or saw either of the vehicles beforehand is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
