Road rage rampage

Police were last night hunting the driver of a car which rammed a taxi into oncoming traffic and caused a van to tip over in Tuart Hill.

Witnesses said the white Mazda3 sedan rear-ended a taxi three times on Grenville Street, eventually pushing the vehicle onto Wanneroo Road where it collided and upended a passing Kia panel van.

The driver of the van was not hurt.

The Mazda driver fled on foot along Wanneroo Road.

Police and the dog squad were searching the area last night.

The driver is described as being in his late 30s, about 175cm tall with a medium to solid build and mousey brown hair. He was wearing board shorts and possibly a red shirt.

It is understood a passenger may have been in the Mazda at the time.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
