Home and Away fans will be devastated to learn that heart-throb Lincoln Younes is leaving the show.

Younes, who plays River Boy Casey Braxton on the long-running Australian soap, finished filming at Summer Bay last month but will remain on air until the end of the year, a Seven spokeswoman told AAA Weekend.

He has been with the series since 2011.

The 22-year-old has since landed a role on the second season of the Nine Drama Love Child, which also stars WA actresses Jessica Marais and Mandy McElhinney.

He has reportedly been cast as the illegitimate child of one of the main characters in the series.

It is shooting its second season around Sydney, with much of the cast being spotted out and about in Kings Cross in 1970s fashions this week.
