Snake-bite stable

A 12-year-old boy was airlifted to Princess Margaret Hospital yesterday after he was bitten by a snake in Bullsbrook.

A St John ambulance spokesman said the patient was picked up by the RAC Rescue helicopter from bush along Smith Road, near the intersection of Chittering Road.

It is understood the child was bitten by a dugite. He was in a stable condition last night.
