Murder charge over Mosman Pk death

UPDATE: 11:25am A 39-year-old Wembley man has been charged with murder over the death of a 68-year-old woman in Mosman Park late yesterday.

Police say the accused man and the dead woman are related but will not say how they are related.

The man has been remanded in custody to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court tomorrow.

Just before 7pm, emergency services were called to the big two-storey property on Bond Street in relation to an injured woman.

She died before paramedics arrived.

Residents in the peaceful, leafy neighbourhood were alarmed by the presence of several police cars and four ambulances on the street.

"It’s very quiet here usually," one neighbour said.

Detectives would like to hear from anyone who saw or heard anything in the Bond Street area yesterday afternoon or evening.
