Hit-run girl left on road

The driver of a car suspected to have hit a nine-year-old girl outside Eden Hill Primary School yesterday has contacted police and is helping crash investigators with their investigation.

The driver was travelling along Ivanhoe Street outside Eden Hill Primary School when the girl was allegedly hit between 3pm and 3.30pm.

St John Ambulance paramedics took the girl to Princess Margaret Hospital where she was treated for a suspected broken ankle.
