Man glassed in pub fight

A man was hospitalised after being glassed in the face at a Mount Hawthorn pub last night.

The 23-year-old was taken to Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital for treatment for an 8cm laceration which went down to the bone after the incident at Paddington Ale House on Scarborough Beach Road.

Shortly before he was glassed, the man had argued with another man at the pub before they walked away from each other.

A woman who had been with the other man then also had an argument with 23-year-old before she struck him in the face with a glass.

Police are calling for witnesses to the incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
