Dead man found in burning car
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in a burning car today.
The 69-year-old man was found alone in a Nissan Patrol at a horse stud property on River Road in Hopeland, south-east of Perth.
A St John Ambulance crew was the first to arrive at the scene about 1pm.
Police said it was not yet known how the fire started, but reports suggest it was an accident.
The man was found by a woman who went to the property to help feed the horses.
