Stormie Mills completes new work

It took 12 hours, a ladder and a handful of helpers but Stuart Street is now home to probably Northbridge's most notorious piece of street art.

A week after a piece of street art by celebrated Perth artist Stormie Mills was inadvertently removed by the City of Vincent, Mills yesterday signed his name to a new work to replace the one he lost.

Mills stopped painting only when rain intervened and finished about 10.30am yesterday.

He was aided in part by friends and one volunteer who had seen him on news reports.Kate Emery
