Workers suspended over cat cruelty

Two Komatsu workers have been stood down after an image of cat "caught on a recent hunt" around the company's Welshpool office circulated on social media. The photos show a Komatsu employee holding the cat by its tail.

Another image of a man not connected to Komatsu shows two black cats being held by their tails with the caption "taking care of the ferals".

Komatsu general manager for people and strategy Colin Shaw said the man in the image and another employee who is believed to have taken the image have been stood down pending the results of an investigation.
