Police are seeking witnesses to an unprovoked glassing at a popular Beaufort Street bar.

The March 30 attack happened at Malt Bar between midnight and 2am.

A 28-year-old man was dancing with friends when he was glassed to the face by a stranger, leaving him with cuts over his left eye.

Bayswater inquiry team officers would like to speak to the man pictured.

He is 180cm tall, fair skinned, of medium build with blonde/brown hair.

He was wearing blue jeans and a dark purple/burgundy t-shirt on the night.
