Subway customers threatened at knifepoint

Police are looking for two men who terrorised staff and customers at a Subway store in Maddington overnight.

At about 8.20pm, two men entered the Albany Highway store.

According to police, one of the men pointed a firearm at customers who were sitting at a table and employees behind the counter.

The other man used a knife to threaten a female staff member.

The first offender stayed with the customers and forced them to kneel on the ground.

The other walked behind the counter and threatened the female employee with a knife, demanding she open the till.

He was given an amount of cash before both offenders left the store.
